Carina Wever

Hi there! My name is Carina 🙂

I am a mother of two, freelance yoga teacher & experience creator, doula & prenatal coach, co-founder and currently president of the Cadushi Festival.

I quite dislike wearing shoes, get excited about nature, spirituality and the arts, wild plants and thunderstorms, the ocean and the cosmos, and am particularly passionate about concocting opportunities for people to gather, * s l o w d o w n *, and connect. I’ve been assembling experiences (aka organizing events) for almost 10 years now.

Although I grew up on the island, I resided in the Netherlands for many moons as a young adult, and not long after returning home in 2008 felt an insatiable urge to evolve the lingering visions of what I had encountered during my time in Europe. A few revolutions later, connecting with my talented friend Julienne who had similar yearnings & ideas, the concept for the festival was born in 2014.

Cadushi Festival to me is an experience like no other on our island – fusing art & innovation with conscious living, bringing together local creatives with activities promoting mindfulness and awareness and a strong sense of community in a warm & uplifting festival atmosphere, with mouthwatering food and brilliant live performances to boot.

I love how Cadushi festival has grown, expanded and evolved naturally, each event bringing new elements, new faces, and definitely more happiness! We hope you will visit us soon and leave feeling empowered and inspired.
